‘Holistic Mama Holistic Baba‘s postnatal support is offered through our weekly postnatal groups for new mums and dads. We also offer support on a one-to-one basis in clinic or at home by experienced, qualified and sympathetic practitioners’.
Pregnancy and childbirth represents a major life transition and some women may feel they need extra support and guidance. Unfortunately, we live in an age of Government cutbacks and scare NHS resources. Midwives and health visitors are under increasing pressure in their delivery of care and may not always be available to allocate time to meet particular needs. Holistic Mama Holistic Baba developed the postnatal Home Support service in response to this concern. This service is not intended to replace existing NHS provision but rather enhance it by providing women and their family with extra support and guidance when it is most needed. Our experienced and qualified health professionals are available to offer support to you at home on a wide range of subjects from breastfeeding, sleep, colic and weaning to postnatal depression and sibling rivalry or just simply ‘to listen’. The Holistic Mama Holistic Baba home visiting service is entirely bespoke to the needs of the family requiring support at the times they need it. All home visits are conducted by registered independent health visitors or midwives.
